These awards are granted to APA members who volunteer and serve on various committees and/or at the local chapter level to advance the payroll profession. Their terms of service may not yet be lengthy, but their contributions are widely recognized.
APA's highest award is bestowed each year on two deserving payroll professionals, one woman and one man. The honorees are national members who have served on many national committees and/or task forces. These individuals are recognized for the results generated by their outstanding volunteer activities. Through the donation of their time and knowledge, they have contributed greatly to the betterment of the payroll profession and the Association.

Only very few of these awards are granted each year to APA members who serve on national committees and local chapters. They have served consistently for many years on a voluntary basis, helping carry out the mission of the Association.
APA Presidents, who serve a one-year term, participate in the governance of the Association and represent APA at industry meetings in the U.S. and worldwide. Presidents are inducted for the year in which they achieve that status.
APA's Board of Directors decided that all current APA employees with 10 or more years of employment with APA National should be represented in the Payroll Hall of Fame.
